Cattle?!
Yes, you might run into cattle on the course.
Our hard working local farmers ask that we do NOT challenge the cattle that you might meet on the road.
If you need help or have any concerns out on the course call one of the #’s on the back of your plate.
If you pack it/pick it up
From our experience, leaving trash & water bottles on the course, has never been an issue during our event. Thank you for doing your part in helping keep the flint hills AMAZING!
Abandonment Support Cost?
This service is completely complementary! Our amazing volunteers will be donating their time, vehicles and bike racks to get you safely back to E-Town in the event you must abandon the race. Be sure to say “Thank You” if you find yourself in need of this service. It will make their day! Please be prepared to wait awhile for non-emergency.
How do I get support?
Every rider will have a phone number(s) on the back of their race plates. Also, remember you will be in the Flint Hills. **Pro tip: Make the call at the top of a hill to ensure enough cellular service.
Will you have supplies (water/nutrition) at the start line?
No. You are responsible for providing yourself enough water and nutrition to make it to the first check point.
